Flashback Friday ….

Hello People,

How was your week? Mine was extremely busy!! I didn’t even have time to write a blog or to even open my website. I seriously didn’t know how hard it is to open an online store.

I’ve been trying to design my website, I want to do everything myself. I am also doing inventory and remember I am a full-time Mommy and Wife.

But anyways since I couldn’t do my TBT today I am doing a FBF!!

Today’s FBF is another place I went to while I was vacationing in Florida. I actually went twice and I do love it!.

The Venetian Pool in Coral Gables, FL.

First of all, I read the reviews like I always do, but it didn’t do justice. I was a little skeptical because I couldn’t believe that there was a Fresh Water Pool in the middle of a gorgeous neighborhood, but off we went anyways.

We took the local way to get there (I love when my husband drives locally when we go on vacation because we see so many beautiful things).

I mean the Houses are so beautiful, the new ones, the old ones, the ones they are renovating. The little streets, those huge old beautiful trees. I was in love.

Just driving over there was an adventure on itself.

We got there early, the parking lot was empty.

The entrance was nice, it was small and the little fountain was so cute.  The prices were good, around $12 for adults and $7 per child (if you are a resident it’s a lot cheaper).

The first time we went it was empty, the second time it was kind of full because they had pool camp for children and teenagers.

The water was cold but it was perfect since it was 99 degrees. It is so big, everybody was in their spot.

There is a Cave, which was my favorite place since I really didn’t want to get any more sun.

There is a huge waterfall, and around it the water is maybe  10 feet tall, to tell you the truth I can’t swim, so I did hold onto my husband’s neck until we go to the wall of the waterfall and then I just climb the stairs I was so afraid, but my children, my husband, and Tio Titian were having fun!

Tio Titian and my youngest son in the waterfall.

They also have a sand place when you can throw your beach towel and relax and they do have a lot of chairs and lifesavers inside and outside of the pool.

My favorite place of all is a little pool on the upper level. You can sit and relax and the children can jump into the big pool from there.

The food and snacks are a little bit pricey, but you know me, My children, husband, Tio Titian and had a tummy full before we got there and I took water and juice and then after we got out we went to eat some delicious Cuban Sandwiches and delicious Mango shakes in a Cafeteria that until this day I can’t remember the name.

I do recommend this place 100%, make sure you get there by the time they open because in the afternoon it does get packed and the parking situation is a mess.

Also take a lot of sunscreen, because although there are a lot of trees and shades inside the water there is no shade.

When you get a change google Venetian Pool in Coral Gables Florida and read the history of that place it is very interesting.

Have a very relax ing weekend!

With Love,
